Returns to the coaching ranks at the College of Charleston for the 2006-07 seasonRanks as the all-time winningest coach at Georgia Tech with 354 wins.
Led Georgia Tech to their first NCAA Final Four appearance in school history in 1990.
Guided Tech to 14 winning seasons and 14 postseason berths in his 19 years including three ACC tournament titles, one ACC regular-season title and a share of another.
Named national Coach of the Year twice in 1985 and 1990 and earned three ACC Coach-of-the-Year awards (1983, 1985, 1996).
Coached 23 players who were drafted or signed contracts with NBA teams.
In 2003, Georgia Governor, Sonny Perdue, proclaimed March 8th "Bobby Cremins Day" throughout the state and Georgia Tech named the floor in Alexander Memorial Coliseum, "Cremins Court" while hanging a banner from the rafters in his honor.
Before arriving in Atlanta, coached Appalachian State for five seasons with a record of 87-56 while capturing three Southern Conference titles. |
